Welcher Terror?

In Israel tobt eine kontinuierliche, unkalkulierbare Terrorwelle gegen jüdische Zivilisten.

In der nicht-israelischen Öffentlichkeit wird davon kaum, oder verzerrt, Kenntnis genommen. Welcher Terror?

Die Blogkollektion Nach dem Krieg ist… die 3. Intifada? versucht sich insgesamt an einer umfassenden Übersicht der aktuellen Situation, der Hetze, die zu der Terrorwelle führt, der internationalen Reaktionen, der Rolle der PA und Hamas und zeigt die Ignoranz und Verzerrung der Medien auf.
Und anders als bei Raketenanschlägen ist bei dieser Art des Terrors: es gibt weder Sirenen oder Alarme oder Apps, noch Schutzräume und Bunker, die vor diesen Anschlägen warnen und Schutz bieten. Sie können JEDEN ÜBERALL JEDERZEIT ereilen, wie die vereinzelten Videos der Attacken aus Überwachungskameras zeigen. Dennoch erwähnt kaum eine internationale Zeitung oder TV-Anstalt die Angreifer, es sei denn, sie werden zu Opfern derjenigen, die sich gegen die Mordanschläge wehren.

Obwohl es zu Hunderten Juden und Araber Israels auf die Straße zu Demonstrationen für ein Ende der Gewalt drängt, ist klar: solange die Hetze und die „FRIEDFERTIGKEITEN“ gegenüber Israel weitergehen, wird es auch weiter Terroristen geben. Und wo die bisherigen teils minderjährigen Täter herkamen, gibt es noch mehr, denen auch nur ein Mensch ihrer Führerschaft entgegenruft: STOPPT DEN TERROR!

Und so sieht der Terror in Wirklichkeit aus, sofern – nichts für zarte Gemüter – man die Realität aushält, die durch NICHTS zu rechtfertigen ist. Auch nicht durch die Lügen der Palästinenser über den Tempelberg. Auch nicht dadurch, dass der Rest der Welt – wie allen anderen Terror gegen Israel auch – den Terror in den Kontext der Siedlungen nach dem Motto „selbst schuld“ versucht zu setzen. Die Perversität daran ist, dass hier eine „Juden sind unser Unglück“-Renaissance in verschiedenen Varianten tobt, um den Mord an ihnen zu erklären, jedoch nichts gegen die Täter, Verursacher, Verleumder und Aufhetzer getan oder gesagt wird, sondern sie gar mediale Schützenhilfe bekommen.

Oder der Terror gegen Israel wird gleich gar nicht thematisiert. Wie bspw. beim ZDF.

Tekoa (south of Jerusalem): A 30-year-old pregnant woman was stabbed and moderately wounded by a 15-year-old assailant outside a clothing warehouse. The attacker was shot.

January 17
Samaria: Attempted stabbing attack was foiled and the assailant shot and killed by security forces.

Jerusalem: Attempted stabbing attack in Armon Hanatziv neighborhood; the knife didn’t penetrate. The attacker fled; a suspect was later apprehended.

Jerusalem – on the road to Gush Etzion: Shooting at passing cars; Arab Israeli lightly wounded.

January 1
Tel Aviv: In a shooting attack at a pub, two killed – Alon Bakal (26), the pub’s manager, and Shimon Ruimi (30) – and 8 injured, two seriously. The assailant (29, Arab-Israeli citizen from Arara village in northern Israel) was killed a week later during an attempt to apprehend him. Taxi driver Amin Shaaban, 42, of Lod, was later shot and killed by the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack on Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Street.

December 31
Samaria (between Hawara and Tapuah on Route 60): Ramming attack – one soldier lightly injured; driver shot and killed.

December 30
Genady Kofman (41) who was very critically injured in a stabbing attack near the Tomb of the Patriarchs on 7 December, has died. Kofman was a father of two and a resident of Kiryat ArbaDecember 27

Hawara (south of Nablus): Stabbing attack by two terrorists; a soldier was wounded. The terrorists (17 & 27, from Jenin) were shot and killed by soldiers on site; one soldier was mistakenly hit by the fire.
Three stabbing attacks were foiled, one in Hebron, one in Samaria, and one in the Old City of Jerusalem. The assailants, an Arab man who crossed into Jerusalem illegally, and two Arab women (one of them 15 years old), were apprehended.

Jerusalem: IDF soldier (18) was stabbed and moderately wounded near the central bus station. Assailant (resident of eastern Jerusalem) was arrested.

December 26

Hawara checkpoint: Soldier lightly injured in a ramming attack. Assailant (56) shot by forces; later died of wounds in Nablus hospital.
Jerusalem: Stabbing attack foiled – Resident (26) of Ras el-Amud, an eastern Jerusalem neighborhood, aroused suspicions of police officers (security cameras show that the Arab sat and waited in the area between Jaffa Gate and Tzahal Square; when he saw a man wrapped in a tallis – prayer showl – walking with his children on their way to Sabbath morning prayers, he followed them). When confronted by the officer, he pulled out a large knife. The officer shot him once; when the assailant continued to move towards the officers with the knife, he was shot a second time and killed on site.
December 25
Bethlehem: Palestinians threw stones at the vehicle of the Latin Patriarch, Fuad Twal, who was visiting Bethlehem on Christmas day.
Silwad, near Ofra in the Benjamin region of Samaria: Attempted ramming attack by an Arab woman (40). The driver was shot and killed on site.
December 24
Hebron: A Palestinian attempted to stab security forces; assailant was shot.

Ariel: Two security guards were stabbed, one seriously, in an attack at an industrial park near Ariel, in the West Bank. The terrorist was shot and killed by the guards.

December 23
Jerusalem: Two people were killed and one wounded in a stabbing attack outside Jaffa Gate, the main entrance to the Old City where thousands of tourists from around the globe are preparing to celebrate Christmas. Rabbi Reuven Birmajer, 45, died of multiple stab wounds to the upper torso. Ofer Ben Ari, 46, was hit by a stray bullet fired by two Border Police officers. The terrorists were shot and killed by Border Policemen on the scene.

December 20
Hebron: A terrorist attempted to stab soldiers and was taken into custody.December 19

Raanana: A terrorist stabbed three people on Saturday afternoon, one seriously. He also attempted to enter a synagogue and a home before being apprehended by security forces.
December 18
West Bank: Car ramming attack thwarted during violent riot near Ramallah. Palestinian assailant attempted to ram vehicle into security forces at Kalandia Crossing. Both assailants were shot.
December 14
Beit Aryeh – Luban: Three Israelis were lightly injured by a huge rock that crashed through the windshield of their car.
Jerusalem: Eleven to fourteen people were injured in a vehicular ramming attack at a bus stop opposite the Calatrava Bridge at the entrance to Jerusalem, around 3 pm on Monday afternoon. The injured include two moderately, a 15-month-old baby who was seriously injured, and the baby’s mother. The terrorist (21, originally from the Beit Hanina neighborhood in Jerusalem, currently residing in Hebron) was shot and killed by security forces.
December 13
Kiryat Arba, Gush Etzion: A Palestinian woman who attempted to stab a civilian was shot and apprehended by IDF forces.
December 11
Halhoul Junction, near Kiryat Arba: A terrorist who attempted to run over IDF soldiers was shot and killed.
Gilboa (Jalame) Crossing: Shots were fired at soldiers from a Palestinian vehicle. Attacker was shot and wounded by IDF forces and later arrested by PA police.
December 10

10 Dec. Between Beit Aryeh community and Luban village in the Benyamin region of Samaria: Ramming attack injured 4 soldiers, 2 lightly, one moderately and one seriously (20). The terrorist (a member of Hamas) was apprehended after a search.

December 9
Afula, northern Israel: Stabbing attack foiled when 3 Arab teens from Jenin were apprehended in possession of butcher knives.
Samaria: A Jewish man was seriously injured, and his wife lightly injured, when 23 bullets hit their car in a drive-by shooting attack on the road from Avney Hefetz. The attackers are suspected of fleeing to nearby Tulkarm.

Hebron: A terrorist stabbed a soldier and a civilian at a checkpoint near Beit Hadassah. The soldier was moderately wounded; the civilian lightly wounded. The terrorist (cousin of the terrorist who carried out the stabbing attack near the Tomb of the Patriarchs on 7 Dec.) was shot and killed by security forces.

December 7
Hebron, near the Tomb of the Patriarchs: An Israeli man was very critically injured in a stabbing attack . The assailant (21) was shot and killed.

December 6
Jerusalem, Romema neighborhood: Three people were wounded in a car-ramming and stabbing attack. After hitting two people with his car, the assailant exited the vehicle and stabbed a pedestrian. The assailant was shot and killed by an IDF soldier at the scene.

December 4
Ofra (northwest of Jerusalem): Two IDF soldiers were injured in a ramming attack. The Palestinian driver was shot and killed by soldiers on the scene.
Abud (northwest of Jerusalem): Palestinian stabbed an IDF soldier in the neck. The attacker was shot and killed at the scene.

Hebron: Two assailants stabbed and wounded a soldier. The assailants were shot and killed.

December 3
Hizme checkpoint: An IDF soldier and a civilian were shot near the checkpoint, north of Jerusalem. The assailant was killed.
Jerusalem: An Israeli police officer was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack. The assailant approached a police car on Hanevi’im Street, near Damascus Gate, and stabbed the officer. The assailant was shot and killed.

December 1
Gush Etzion junction: A Palestinian (16) tried to carry out a stabbing attack at the hitchhiking stop, which has been the site of 10 terrorist attacks in the past two months. IDF forces shot and killed the assailant. An Israeli man was light-to-moderately wounded from bullet shrapnel.
Einav Junction (Samaria): A female Palestinian attempted to stab a soldier at a checkpoint adjacent to the junction in the northern West Bank. She was shot and killed.

November 29
Jerusalem: A Border Police officer was stabbed near Damascus Gate, in the Old City. The assailant was shot and killed.
A 31-year-old female foreign worker from Nepal was moderately wounded in a stabbing attack as she waited at a bus stop on Shamgar Street on her day off. The assailant fled and was later apprehended.

November 27
Kfar Adumim Junction (east of Jerusalem): Two soldiers were lightly to moderately hurt in a car-ramming attack.
Beit Ummar: Six soldiers were lightly to moderately wounded when a Palestinian rammed his car into IDF troops at the entrance to the Beit Ummar refugee camp, south of the Gush Etzion junction.

November 25
An IDF soldier was stabbed and seriously wounded at the Al-Fawar junction, south of Hebron. The assailant, 19, a student at the Palestine Technical College, was shot and killed.

November 24
Tapuach Junction (northern West Bank): A Palestinian rammed a car into security forces, wounding three IDF soldiers, among them a colonel and lieutenant colonel, and a Border Policeman who were at the junction assessing additional security measures to prevent terror attacks. The assailant was shot and apprehended.

November 23
Jerusalem: Two Palestinians (female, aged 14 & 16) stabbed passersby on Jaffa Road near the Mahane Yehuda market with scissors, wounding an elderly Palestinian man from Bethlehem. The assailants were shot, one killed on site. A security guard was wounded by the gunfire.
Gush Eztion junction: Hadar Buchris, 21,was fatally stabbed as she waited for a ride at a hitchhiking stop at the junction. IDF soldiers at the site shot and killed the terrorist.
Northern Samaria: A youth (18) was lightly wounded in a ramming attack near Shavei Shomron. Later, a Palestinian tried to stab soldiers at the Samaria Brigade Junction and was killed.
Route 443: IDF soldier Ziv Mizrahi (18) was killed in a stabbing attack at the gas station on the highway between Jerusalem and Modi’in. A female officer and another woman were lightly wounded. The attacker was shot and killed by security forces.

November 22
Samaria Brigade Junction: A Palestinian (16, female from Nablus) pulled out a knife and charged at a young Israeli woman waiting at a bus stop. The assailant was spotted by a civilian driver, who ran into her with his car. Security forces at the site shot the assailant, who died at the scene.
Kfar Adumim junction (east of Jerusalem): A Palestinian taxi driver tried to ram his car into a group of Israeli pedestrians. After failing to hit anybody, he got out of the car and attacked them with a knife. One man slightly wounded. The attacker was shot and killed.

November 21
Kiryat Gat: Four people, including a 13-year-old girl, were wounded in a stabbing attack on King David Street. The stabber was apprehended several hours later.

November 19
Tel Aviv: Two people were killed and one wounded in a stabbing attack during afternoon prayers in a Judaica store located in the Panorama building – a commercial center in southern Tel Aviv. The terrorist, from Dura in the West Bank, was apprehended. Hamas „welcomed“ the attack. The victims: Rabbi Aharon Yesayev, 32, of Holon and Reuven Aviram, 51, of Ramle.
Ezra Schwartz is the American who was killed near the Gush Etzion region in Israel on the afternoon. He was a Yeshiva student from Massachusetts. It followed an earlier stabbing attack in the city of Tel Aviv which saw two Israelis killed by a Palestinian man inside an office building. Schwartz was 18 years old.

November 13
Rabbi Ya’akov Litman, 40, and his son Netanel, 18, were killed in a shooting attack while driving on Route 60 near Otniel, south of Hebron. His wife and four other children in the vehicle were lightly wounded by shrapnel and the resulting crash. A suspect was taken into custody.

November 10
Damascus Gate: An attacker ran at Israeli border security guards brandishing a knife, and was shot and badly wounded before he could attack his intended victims. Ready to see the video?
East Jerusalem (Abu Dis): An assailant attempted to stab an Israeli border police officer, but was shot and killed on site.
Jerusalem (Pisgat Zeev neighborhood): Jerusalem light rail security guard stabbed and moderately injured by two Arab youths, aged 12. The guard shot and wounded one of the attackers; the other was taken into custody. Ready to see the video?

November 9
Eliyahu checkpoint (near Alfei Menashe, northern Samaria): Palestinian woman attempted to stab guards at the checkpoint. She was shot and killed by security forces. Ready to see the video?

November 8
Tapuah Junction: A Palestinian individual accelerated at a high rate of speed and slammed his car into a group of people waiting at a hitchhiking station, then drove into a concrete barrier and was killed by Israeli security forces on the scene. Four Israelis were injured in the attack, including a pregnant woman and two individuals in their early 20’s.
Beitar Illit: A Palestinian woman approached an Israeli security officer and began a conversation, then reached into her bag, pulled out a knife, and attempted to stab the officer. This incident was all caught on video, which you can see below.
Nabi Ilyas: An Israeli was attacked randomly while shopping at shop stalls in Nabi Ilyas. The attacker was apprehended on the scene.
Border Policeman St.-Sgt. Benjamin Yakubovich, 19, of Kiryat Ata, critically wounded in on November 4, died of his wounds.

November 6
Hebron (Cave of the Patriarchs): Two teens (16 and 18) were hit by gunfire by Palestinian terrorists while exiting the Cave of the Patriarchs in a prayer group. The 16 year old was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital.
West Bank: An Israeli man in his 40’s was stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist who then fled the scene and was not caught.
Hebron: An elderly Palestinian woman attempted to ram her car into a group of Israeli soldiers in Hebron, but was shot and stopped before she hit them.
Hebron: An Israeli security officer was shot in the head by a Palestinian terrorist, who fled the scene but was later captured. The victim was seriously wounded and was brought to a hospital following the attack.

November 5
Gush Etzion: A Palestinian man approached a group of Israeli soldiers and confronted them brandishing a knife. As the terrorist ran towards the Israeli soldiers they opened fire and killed him.

November 4
Hebron: An Israeli security officer was hit by a car driven by a Palestinian, who was then shot at the scene. The 19-year old security officer was seriously injured after the Palestinian man purposefully rammed into him, and was taken to a local hospital. The victim, 19-year old Staff Seargent Benjamin Yaakovovich, died of his wounds four days later.

November 2
Rishon Lezion: A 19-year old Palestinian man from Hebron stabbed a 40-year old Israeli from behind on a bus, then ran off the bus and across the street where he stabbed a woman in her 80’s, and a 26-year old man. He lightly injured two other people before he was cornered into a beauty supply store by a crowd and apprehended by police.
Netanya: A 71-year old man was stabbed multiple times and seriously wounded by a Palestinian, who allegedly walked up and stabbed the random victim in the street.

November 1
Kiryat Arba: Three Israeli border police officers were injured in a car-ramming attack in Kiryat Arba, the attacker drove away but later turned himself in claiming it was an accident.
Beit Anun: A Palestinian assailant attempted to stab IDF soldiers neat Beit Anun, he was shot and killed.

October 31
Gilboa (Jalama) crossing, north of Jenin in the West Bank: Palestinian (17) armed with a knife tried to stab Israeli guards and was killed on site.

October 30
Tapuach Junction (Samaria): Two terrorists, arriving on a motorbike armed with knives, attempted to stab Border Police officers. One killed, second apprehended.
Jerusalem (French Hill): One person moderately injured in stabbing attack near light rail. Terrorist shot at the scene.

October 29
Hebron: Terrorist stabs and lightly injures soldier near the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Terrorist was shot and killed. Later a Palestinian attempted to stab an IDF soldier in the Beit Hadassah neighborhood. Assailant was shot on site.
In the evening, shots were fired from a passing vehicle towards a bus stop near Jerusalem.

October 28
Gush Etzion Junction: A woman was stabbed in the back, moderately wounded, outside the Rami Levy supermarket. The assailant was apprehended.
Earlier, a Palestinian who attempted to stab an IDF soldier near the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron was shot and killed by security forces.

October 27

October 13
Jerusalem: Two terrorists, both residents of the adjacent Jabel Mukaber neighborhood, boarded an Egged bus in East Talpiot in southern Jerusalem, one armed with a gun and the other with a knife. Chaim Haviv, 78, and Alon Andrei Govberg, 51 were killed, and 15 wounded, several seriously. One terrorist killed by police, second apprehended.
Makor Baruch, a religious neighborhood. Rabbi Yeshayahu Krishevsky, 59, of Jerusalem was killed and five wounded. The terrorist, who was apprehended, is a resident of the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood who holds Israeli citizenship, was an employee of Israeli phone company Bezeq, and was using a company car to commit the attack.
Hamas praised the attacks, saying they are „a message to anyone who harms our holy places.“
Three of the five terrorists behind Jerusalem, Ra’anana attacks were residents of Jabel Mukhaber – and belonged to Fatah, Hamas.

October 12
Jerusalem: Stabbing attack foiled at Lion’s Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City. Terrorist (18, from eastern Jerusalem) was shot and killed.
Jerusalem (Ammunition Hill, northern Jerusalem): Border policeman was stabbed and lightly injured by a female terrorist (16). The officer managed to shoot and stop her, and she was evacuated to hospital.
Jerusalem (Pisgat Zeev in northern Jerusalem): Two terrorists (both teenagers) stabbed and seriously wounded a man (25) and a boy (13) riding his bicycle. Police shot and killed one terrorist and apprehended the second. The boy is in critical condition.
Jerusalem (8:30 pm near entrance to city): Terrorist on bus stabbed a soldier (19) and tried to grab his gun. After a struggle, the terrorist was shot and killed by a police officer.

October 11
Maaleh Adumim-Jerusalem highway: Police officer lightly injured when he pulled over a driver acting suspiciously, and the (female) driver set off an explosive device. Gas canister s were later found in the vehicle. The terrorist was seriously wounded.
A 19 year-old female IDF soldier was critically wounded and a 20 year-old male IDF soldier was seriously wounded in a combined stabbing and vehicular attack near the Israeli community of Gan Shmuel, near Hadera. A 14 year-old Israeli boy and a 45 year-old man suffered minor injuries. The terrorist was apprehended by a police patrol near the entrance to the community. According to the initial investigation, he first ran over the woman soldier, exited his car, stabbed her and then stabbed the others

October 10
Jerusalem (Sabbath morning): Arab (16) stabbed two Jewish men in their 60s near Damascus Gate, leaving them moderately and lightly wounded, respectively. The terrorist then attacked Border Police officers, who shot and killed him.
Jerusalem (near Damascus Gate): Palestinian (19, from Shuafat) stabbed two police officers. Nearby police shot and killed him, and accidently wounded a third officer. Officers in serious-to-moderate condition

October 9
Jerusalem (Shmuel HaNavi St.): Jewish boy (16) was beaten and stabbed and lightly injured. Attacker (18, from Hebron in West Bank) was later apprehended by police.
Kiryat Arba: Terrorist stabbed a police officer (47) and tried to grab his gun. Other officers shot him.
Afula: Female terrorist tried to stab a security guard at the Central Bus Station. She was shot and wounded.

October 8
Tel Aviv: Female soldier and three others stabbed. Terrorist was shot and killed.
Jerusalem: A yeshiva student (25) was seriously injured and another man lightly injured in stabbing attack near the light rail. Terrorist (age 19) arrested.
Kiryat Arba (Jewish town near Hebron, south of Jerusalem): Man seriously wounded in stabbing attack. Victim evacuated to Jerusalem hospital. Terrorist escaped.
Afula (town in Galilee): A soldier was wounded in stabbing attack. The terrorist was apprehended soon after.​

October 7
Petach Tikva: Knife attack at shopping mall wounded one man. The knife broke, preventing further victims. Bystanders apprehended the terrorist.
Gush Etzion, Judea, south of Jerusalem – a woman (38), driving from her home in Tekoa, was attacked by Arabs, who threw rocks at her and tried to drag her from her car. Lightly wounded, she succeeded in closing the car door and escaped.
Jerusalem: A Palestinian woman (18) stabbed a 36-year-old Jewish man at Lion’s Gate of the Old City. The victim, moderately wounded, shot and wounded the terrorist.
Kiryat Gat (southeast of Tel Aviv) – a terrorist stabbed an IDF soldier and snatched his gun, then ran into a nearby apartment, where a woman was just returning home. She fought with him and managed to flee. The terrorist was killed by police.

Stone throwers attack a car seriously injuring a mother and her 6-month old baby.
Naama Henkin, 30, and her husband Eitam, of Neria, parents of four, were killed in a drive-by shooting attack on the road between Itamar and Elon Moreh in Samaria.

September 27
On the eve of the Sukkot festival, several dozen masked men rioted on the Temple Mount between 8:15-8:30 after barricading themselves overnight in the al-Aqsa mosque, throwing firebombs and stones at the police stationed at the Mughrabi gate overlooking the Western Wall plaza – this in order to prevent rock-throwing at Jews praying there.
The riots continued for three consecutive days, throughout the Jewish festival, as the masked operatives threw rocks, fire bombs and firecrackers at the police, who responded with non-lethal riot dispersal measures. The explosive devices launched by the masked rioters injured a number of police officers and ignited several fires, which were extinguished by the police.
Sunday, 13 September
An Israeli was killed when stones were thrown at his car near the south Jerusalem neighborhood of Arnona. The deceased was Alexander Levlovich, 64, a resident of Jerusalem. He was driving home with two women after the holiday dinner. The car was attacked with stones on the road. As a result, the driver had a heart attack, lost control of the car, veered off the road and crashed into a pole. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The two passengers sustained minor injuries
On the eve of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, a group of some 150 radical Islamic operatives rioted on the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif plaza in Jerusalem’s Old City. The riots were launched with the intent of undermining the status quo on the Temple Mount, which protects the right of Muslims to pray in the al-Aqsa mosque, as well as the freedom of all people, regardless of their faith, to visit the Mount. The rioters disrupted visits by tourists and Israelis to the Temple Mount plaza – the holiest site in Judaism.
The operatives clearly planned their aggression many days ahead: they had barricaded themselves in advance inside the al-Aqsa mosque, where they stockpiled rocks, planks, wooden sheets and fireworks, and also prepared Molotov cocktail firebombs and explosive devices.

September 6, 2015, Palestinians threw Molotov cocktails at the community of Beit El. There were no casualties and no damage was reported (Facebook page of Red Alert, September 6, 2015).

September 4, 2015, Israeli Border Policemen stationed at the Tapuah Junction (south of Nablus) halted a suspicious vehicle for a security check. A search of the vehicle revealed an M-16 assault rifle hidden under a seat. Two days previously a rifle and ammunition magazines were found in a vehicle at the same roadblock (Facebook page of the Israel Police Force, September 4, 2015).

September 3, 2015, five yeshiva students, all of them American tourists, drove to the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron. They got lost on the way and entered the Jabel Johar neighborhood in the southern part of the city. Palestinians stoned their car. A local resident took them to his house until IDF forces came and removed them from the region. Two of the tourists suffered minor injuries. The car was torched and burned to the ground.

September 3, 2015, a vehicle broke through the police checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Azaria in east Jerusalem and drove directly at the policemen manning the site. The police shot at the car, it overturned and caught fire (Facebook page of the Israel Police Force, September 3, 2015). An improvised weapon was found in the possession of a Palestinian woman who roused the suspicions of the police stationed at the checkpoint (Facebook page of Red Alert, September 3, 2015).

September 2, 2015, during a Border Police activity in the al-Aida refugee camp (near the Tomb of Rachel in Bethlehem), the policemen identified a Palestinian about to throw a pipe bomb at them. They shot and wounded him; he was taken to a hospital. The bomb was neutralized (Facebook page of the Israel Police Force, September 2, 2015).

May 14- Four Israelis were injured when Muhammad al-Rafiya, a Palestinian who had earlier been arrested and imprisoned for throwing rocks and possessing an illegal firearm, slammed his car into a group of Israelis as they were waiting at a bus station.
June 19- A terrorist named Mohammed Abu Shaheen stopped an Israeli vehicle near the Ein Buvin Spring in the Dolev community, pretending to ask for directions. When the vehicle stopped, Abu Shaheen opened fire, moderately injuring one civilian and severely injuring Danny Gonen, who later succumbed to his wounds
Jun. 29- Four Israelis were shot and injured in a drive-by shooting attack near Shilo. One of them died in the hospital the next day.
July 15- A Palestinian stabbed an IDF soldier at a security post in the Shiloh Junction. Forces arrested the assailant.
August 4- A molotov cocktail was hurled at Israeli vehicle in Jerusalem. Three people were injured.
August 6- A vehicle intentionally hit soldiers near Nablus, three were injured.
August 9- Palestinian assailants stabbed an Israeli civilian at a gas station.
August 15- A Palestinian stabbed a soldier on route 443 near Jerusalem.
August 15- An Israel Border Police officer was stabbed at a junction south of Nablus.
August 17- An assailant attempted to stab a Border Police officer at Tapuah Junction.

  • On October 16, 2015, ‚Day of Rage‘ results in 2 deaths, 126 wounded on Gaza border while reports incidate another killed in West Bank clashes near Nablus.
  • On October 13, 2015, hundreds of Gazans reportedly rioted near the border at Dir al-Balah in the southern Gaza Strip. Several dozen broke through the border security fence in the southern Gaza Strip and invaded Israeli territory. During the event Gazans shot at the vehicle of a senior IDF officer. Palestinian sources reported that dozens of Gazans were wounded (Haaretz, October 14, 2015).
  • On October 12, 2015, dozens of Gazans broke through the border security fence in the southern Gaza Strip and invaded Israel territory for the second time in a week. IDF forces used riot control measures to halt them near the fence. Five Palestinians who had broken into Israeli territory were taken for questioning by the Israeli security forces (Ma’an News Agency and NRG, October 12, 2015).
  • On the evening of October 10, 2015, dozens of Palestinians broke through the border security fence in the southern Gaza Strip and invaded Israeli territory. IDF forces repelled them and most of them returned to the Gaza Strip (Ma’an News Agency and NRG, October 10, 2015).
  • On October 10, 2015, there were clashes east of Khan Yunis. Two Palestinians were killed and about 20 were wounded (Yedioth Aharonot, October 11, 2015; Wafa News Agency, October 9, 2015; Facebook page of Gaza al-‚Aan, October 9, 2015; Facebook page of QudsN, October 10, 2015). One of the Palestinians killed was apparently a Hamas operative.[3]
  • On October 9, 2015, hundreds of Palestinians approached the border security fence, entered the proscribed area, burned tires and threw Molotov cocktails and small improvised charges at IDF soldiers. The IDF forces used riot control measures to disperse them. Seven Palestinians were killed and about 60 were wounded. Five hundred Gazans tried to enter Israeli territory through the Erez crossing and were repelled.
  • On September 18, 2015, a rocket was launched from the Gaza Strip at Ashkelon.  The rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome system. There were no casualties and no damage was caused (IDF Spokesperson, September 18, 2015). This was the first rocket interception by the Iron Dome system since Operation Protective Edge. An ISIS-affiliated network calling itself the Company of Sheikh Omar Hadid – Bayt al-Maqdis claimed responsibility for the rocket attack. According to the statement, the rocket fire was carried out in support of the Al-Aqsa Mosque (the network’s Twitter page, September 19, 2015). This network has claimed responsibility for most of the recent rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
  • On September 17, 2015, a rocket hit was identified in the vicinity of Sderot. There were no casualties. A vehicle was damaged (IDF Spokesman, September 17, 2015). No network or organization claimed responsibility for the attack.
  • On the night of September 15, 2015, several rockets were launched at Israel from the central Gaza Strip. One rocket hit a house in Deir al-Balah and the rest fell in open areas in the Gaza Strip. There were no casualties (Red Alert Facebook page, September 15, 2015).
